Thanksgiving

This is the first year since being married that we were able to spend Thanksgiving at my parents. We sure missed the Arave's and their lobster dinner, but it was good to be with my family too.

Keeping baby safe!

It's a good thing Ammon made it back this year so we could keep up with our Thanksgiving tradition, and officially initiate Rhett into the family!

Now that Thanksgiving is over, Rhett is determined to get this baby here. I keep telling him she's going to be late, but he's not convinced. I'm finally starting to get some energy though, so I'd be fine with her coming later. I also want to her wait until after Christmas. I guess we'll see.

Anniversary

I can't believe it's been 2 years already. It's crazy to think this is the last year that it will be just us. We really should have taken more advantage of that by doing something more extravagant,  but we are both horrible planners and can never make a decision. We just ended up going to dinner at Stockman's (so ymmy!) on Saturday since our actual anniversary was on Sunday. Sometimes, it's just better to keep it simple. Especially when you're 7 months pregnant.

We are both so excited for this next year and all the changes it is going to bring.

Bear Lake

For our family reunion this year, we went to Bear Lake. I think it's safe to say, everyone had so much fun, and it was something out of the norm for our family. Everyone was able to make it except Nate and Lori's family. We sure missed them. I don't blame them for not wanting to travel with a newborn though, but we can't wait to meet sweet baby Amber. Randy and Sarrona were even able to make it for a bit with little Sofia. I wish I would have gotten more pictures. She was so little and such a gorgeous little thing. Makes me more excited for our little girl. I'm so glad she will have lots of cousins around her age.

This is how we told my family we were having a girl. Warren just thought we were giving him a candy bar at first. He forget I was even pregnant. It was pretty funny.

It was such a fun weekend. We spent all day Saturday at the lake. Dad even rented a boat (we were all in shock). The boys had a blast trying to wake board and the kids loved going for rides. By the end of the day we were all worn out, and a little red from all the sun. We ate lots of good food, relaxed, laughed, and enjoyed every minute of being together, since it only happens once a year.

Love this little guy! Can't wait to meet his brother in a few short months.

Rhett was the only one able to get up, but everyone sure had a fun time trying!

Such a goofball!

Alanna took pictures for us on Sunday. She did such a great job.

It's a...

My doctor told me to schedule my next appointment for when i was 20 weeks (which was 6 weeks away instead of the normal 4) so we could find out the gender. I was hoping he would let us find out sooner, because I had a family reunion coming up and really wanted to tell my family in a cute way while we were all together. Rhett and I planned on going to one of those fetal photo places if the doctor wouldn't let us come in sooner. Luckily after I told him our plans, he agreed! When we went in, I was so excited and nervous. I would have been so sad if they couldn't tell the sex yet because of how the baby was turned or if it was too early. We got lucky though, and he got perfect pictures of our little GIRL! I feel so blessed to be having a baby girl, mostly because I thought I would have boys like my mom. Rhett was hoping for a boy, but I know he will be obsessed with her once she gets here! Mostly we are just grateful she is healthy and everything is on the right track. 22 more weeks!

Happy Fourth of July

I love the 4th! We had fun going to the parade, having a bbq at Tara & Jarom's, and watching one of the best firework shows west of the Rockies!
